Karang Boma Cliff

Karang Boma Cliff is a sheer limestone headland on the Bukit Peninsula in Uluwatu, a short walk from Uluwatu Temple along the clifftop path. The cliff drops close to 100 metres straight into the Indian Ocean, with waves breaking against the rock far below and, on a clear afternoon, surfers visible riding the reef breaks along this stretch of coast. Unlike the temple grounds nearby, the viewpoint is open and unfenced in places, and it draws a steady crowd toward sunset when the cliff face and ocean turn gold and orange.
